hello, my old blog died without any notice, so here we are with a wish that this one will last a bit longer...
i am a week back from Trencin, Slovakia, it was Pohoda festival again, and what a nice one it was...i did another large mural, it was the first time this year i left England, stayed very local for the past year...

man, it was hot. hottest summer in 100 years, they said. it was a real shock, as there was no summer in England almost at all and, mostly 15 degrees and pouring so coming into tropical heat was a bit too much for my shell. but i managed, painting mornings and evening, sticking to the fan in my room during the afternoons...had the laptop with me so i got quite a lot done..

i was the first to perform of all the many greats who came this year, starting two days before everyone else just to make sure i get it finished in time. i completed the wall Saturday before sunset, so all well. i did not see too much of the festival this year, but what i have seen was amazing. the highlight was definitelly KTU, i was really looking forward to see them live, we hang out afterwards too, a real boost of wonderful energy they were.

another amazing show was Blind boys of Alabama, these men are so powerful in their positive. i was there with two friends from London, we danced and danced and danced.

i jiggled with a big smile in the front row to Junkie XL, he was so much fun to witness there!!!

Slovak national theatre opera singers and a full orchestra were probably the most emotional performance, to hear them from the biggest stage on huge soundsystem at 1pm was a real strong experience. shivering while it was baking. after they finished their show, Michal Kascak (main organizer) came on stage and told them to repeat it all over. everyone applauded so off they started again. beautiful.

i bumped into many old friends, so nice that. many myspace friends came to say hi also, so it was nice to meet them also...
