Artspace@ORB

So far it's in pilot times and we are running on Thursday afternoons. Some truly nice work is being produced and i really wish it grows and we will show in various interesting spaces near you.

Orb community enterprise based in Harrogate, North Yorkshire is working with Maria Slovakova, a local artist who’s artwork has been exhibited in many galleries and spaces across the USA, Canada & Europe to develop artspace@ORB which aims to provide facilities to enable artists to have the space to work on individual projects with support if required. Maria and Orb aim to develop the project inspired by activities of the Living Museum which is part of Creedmoor Psychiatric Hospital in Queens Village NYC & AIM (Artists In Mind) in Huddersfield. Maria’s found her experience of being involved in the Living Museum whilst in New York and also her work with AIM very positive in their mission and is keen to develop a similar project locally.
